Some common terms that should be understood:
RSS - Resources, that is Food, Lumber, Stone and Ore. These are commonly found on tiles on the map and won as loot when defeating monsters and bosses
Tile - A spot on the map where resources can be gathered. Can sometimes also include Relics
NAP - From Non Aggression Pact. These are sometimes between individual players, sometimes between alliances and sometimes server-wide.
KE - Kill Enemies aka Kill Event - On the weekends when there is no SVS (see below) there is a free-for-all where attacking is allowed on keeps, but not tiles and Relics.
SIC prefer not to have KE and prefer total NAP, but this does not prevent others from attacking us so stay bubbled.
SVS - Server VS Server aka Server Wars. Every 2 weeks we fight another server for points and control of temples and throne citys
Useful Tips
Some tips that may make gameplay easier:
Against monsters and bosses. Use only Mounted troops and of one tier only. Preferably your highest tier, unless you have just upgraded and are still building.
Remember that "Power" is a very misleading number. Increasing power does not automatically make your march stronger.
When joining a rally, join with 1 general and 1 troop only. The only exceptions are when you have been told otherwise for this particular rally. The troop should be mounted or ranged only.
Never join with multiple types or multiple tiers.
Absolutely never join with siege or ground.
Sometimes the rally setter will ask for ranged support. Then you join with a solid ranged march of your highest level tier only. Do not mix tiers.
Do join rallies, especially for the higher level bosses, they give many great rewards like speedups, maps, gold, and chests.
Research is vital for growing faster and better, it gives boosts to all the other stats in the game.
In particular note Typography that will make all other research faster.
Read all the selections and make a plan for how to do research.
Never let the academy stand idle, always set research except when upgrading the academy itself.
It is very tempting to raise the keep, but if your other buildings are not at the same level you will need a lot of work when you have to upgrade. Try to get most of your buildings to keep level before increasing keep.
Get them at least to 145 so you get the key for generals chest, but it does not hurt to get a few more things done if you can.
Until you reach Lv 33 and can build Ares and Achaemenidae gear you will be very vulnerable to those with said gear.
